![]() ![]() Death by Adaptation: It can range from Satoshi, Yuka, and Yoshiki in the Tortured Souls OVA, Satoshi, Yuka, and Naomi, with the hinted possibly of Yoshiki and Ayumi not too far behind in the Corpse Party: Musume manga, to various characters in the light novels. With how things turned out, this might be more notably aimed towards Ayu mi and Yosh iki they both practically get the worst kind of ending out of everyone. By the time Blood Drive occurs, everything they've faced up to that point has become this for them. Dark and Troubled Past: With the exception of Yoshiki, the rest of them had pretty normal lives prior to the series' start. In fact, they're the only ones that made it out alive until Blood Drive. Action Survivor: All of them have to think quick, or improvise on defending themselves in order to live and escape Heavenly Host. After that, I released the hair, "glued" it to the foam with hairspray and heat and carefully twisted it to make her rolls, using hot glue and invisible hair clips to make them stay in shape. I separated the side bangs, put the rest of the hair up and sew them. I cut two long stripes of brown craft foam and glued small squares of felt to their tips in order to sew them later to the mesh of the wig. And so, I made her two rolls with craft foam, a hairdryer and a lot of hairspray. I started working on it trying to make a back part, but I discovered that doesn't work when I finished doing it and it looked awful. It also has the usual defects of this kind of wigs: overly thick bangs combined with too few wefts in the back. The major cons are its bulgy point parting and that it's somewhat sticky to the touch (WTF). For what is actually a party wig, Rubie's not as bad as the rest: it's not overly shiny and it has a lot of fibers. I didn't have the time or the money to buy a really good wig, and I must admit I also felt intimidated by Seiko's crazy hairstyle, and so I ordered a cheap wig, just not too cheap to be too shiny and crappy-looking. The gem was a present from my friend JP, since I ran out of resin, I just painted it blue :3 ![]() The shirt was horribly rushed, so much that it didn't fit me well and I cringe in horror everytime I see it (so much that I considered tearing it apart and adding blood stains for a photoshoot XD). The shoes were bought and painted, and I already had the socks. And thus I decided to bring her costume to a convention in which it'd be easier to recognize me, even more with the spin-off and the OAV that just started being sold when I was there XDĪctually, I'm not very proud of the uniform itself: the pleated skirt is actually the one I made for Nagisa (CLANNAD) without the gold buttons, and it's probably the only thing that I made properly. But among them all, my favorite was Seiko from the start: Satomi Arai does a superb job on her playful and funny voice, I love her positive outlook on that awful situation she's part of, her love is cute and sad at the same time and she's just memorable. I didn't expect an adventure game with 16-bit style graphics to be this creepy and engaging! And with such awesome characters to boot. Seiko was the second costume I decided I'd bring to my japanese adventure at Comiket 82 :3 I stumbled upon Corpse Party almost by chance: it caught my attention since this kind of horror is strange in japanese videogames and anime (and I just finished watching Another, so I was in the mood for something more XD). ![]()
